The Couturier Bride Experience
At Studio I Do, we pride ourselves on creating a personalized experience for every bride. Our Couturier Bride Experience offers brides the chance to work closely with our Expert Stylists and Custom Couturiers to design a gown that is uniquely theirs. Here’s a step-by-step look at the process:
Book Your Couture Appointment
Start by scheduling a consultation with one of our Expert Stylists. During this appointment, we’ll discuss your vision and inspirations, sketching your dream gown to bring your ideas to life.
Select Fabrics
Next, we’ll review our vast swatch book to help you choose the ideal fabric for your gown. We offer a wide variety of luxurious fabrics to touch and feel in person, and we can source specific materials or colors upon request.

Receive Your Estimate
Once the design and fabric choices are confirmed, we’ll provide you with an initial cost estimate. This is based on your fabric selections and the complexity of your design. (Keep in mind that this estimate may adjust if any changes are made during production.)
Place Your Deposit
To begin the process, you’ll place a 50% deposit, minus the $300 consultation fee. This deposit secures your gown and moves us into the production phase.
Measurements and Fittings
We’ll take your precise measurements to ensure your gown fits flawlessly. During production, you’ll have fittings scheduled at key points to make any necessary design or fit adjustments.
Final Fitting & Completion
When your gown is complete, you’ll come in for your final fitting to ensure everything is perfect. At this time, the remainder of the balance is due, and your gown is ready to take home. Any further alterations after pickup can be handled by our in-house alterations department.
Timeline
Creating a bespoke gown is a true labor of love, requiring between 8 to 10 months from consultation to completion. Fittings are scheduled according to your timeline, and if needed, we can rush the process for an additional fee.

At Studio I Do, we offer an array of fabric options for our bespoke brides. From soft tulle to structured satin, we provide base fabrics in-store for you to explore during your appointment. If you have a specific fabric or color in mind, we will happily source it to ensure it meets your exact vision.
What to Bring to Your Consultation
To make the most of your custom gown consultation, we recommend bringing along any inspiration photos you have. If you’re incorporating fabric from an heirloom gown, be sure to bring that as well. Additionally, bring your wedding shoes or any accessories you plan to wear so we can design your dress accordingly.
Who to Bring
We know how special this moment is, which is why we recommend bringing no more than two guests to your Couturier appointment. Choose loved ones who have your happiness in mind and will help make this experience truly unforgettable.
